Aims and Scope

Lung Cancer: Targets and Therapy is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal focusing on lung cancer research, identification of therapeutic targets and the best use of preventative and integrated treatment interventions to achieve improved outcomes, enhanced survival and quality of life for the cancer patient.

The journal’s audience includes clinicians, researchers, and medical oncologists involved in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of lung cancer. The journal is characterized by rigorous peer review, high impact reviews, and evidence-based research aimed at improving patient outcomes.

Specific topics covered in the journal include:

• Epidemiology, detection and screening
• Cellular research and biomarkers
• Identification of biotargets and agents with novel mechanisms of action
• Optimal clinical use of existing anticancer agents, including combination therapies

Lung Cancer: Targets and Therapy will no longer consider meta-analyses for publication.

The journal welcomes submitted papers covering original research, basic science, clinical and epidemiological studies, reviews and evaluations, guidelines, expert opinion and commentary, case reports and extended reports.
