Dear editor
We extend our sincere gratitude to Drs. Jui-Yu Lin and Chuan-Yuan Lin for their comprehensive and insightful explanation regarding the reconstitution of Poly-D,L-lactic acid/AestheFill® (REGEN Biotech, Seoul, South Korea). Their expertise has greatly enriched our understanding of the product’s properties and handling.
Additionally, in our consensus article,1 we acknowledged that post-procedure massage “is not essential.” While we agree that massage appears to be unnecessary after injectable PDLLA—and also recognize the limited clinical and experimental evidence supporting its impact—we still recommend it during the first 3–5 days post-procedure due to its simplicity, negligible cost, and low risk of adverse effects.
