Innovations and Integrations in regenerative medicine
Regenerative medicine is increasingly recognized as a central pillar of future healthcare. Unlike conventional treatments that primarily focus on managing symptoms, regenerative approaches aim to restore or replace damaged tissues and organs. This shift is particularly important as chronic diseases, degenerative conditions, and organ failure continue to increase in prevalence worldwide. Advances in stem cell biology, biomaterials, tissue engineering, gene editing, and immunomodulation are driving progress toward therapies that have the potential to provide lasting functional recovery. This Collection centers on regenerative medicine within the framework of internal medicine, reflecting the journal's commitment to enhancing understanding of pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment protocols, patient outcomes, and quality of life.
