This section covers the autoimmune aspects of inflammation not covered in other sections, including systemic autoimmune and autoinflammatory diseases. These include but are not limited to: systemic lupus erythematosus, lupus nephritis, Sjögren’s syndrome, idiopathic inflammatory myopathy, myositis (including polymyositis and dermatomyositis), adult-onset still's disease, alopecia, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, Graves’ disease, Addison’s disease, and Behcet’s disease.
