This section considers high-quality original research articles and comprehensive reviews covering all aspects of oncology for all age groups and cancer types. This is with a particular emphasis on precision medicine, cancer biology, immuno-oncology, molecular diagnostics and innovative diagnostic tools, and multidisciplinary management of malignant diseases in an era of increasing complexity of care. The section prioritizes clinical trials, translational research, and real-world evidence that shape best practices, evaluate new technologies, and support equitable care delivery. This includes cutting-edge therapies such as immunotherapy and personalized medicine, as well as genetic studies examining mutations and the role of precision medicine. Submissions that explore implementation science, survivorship, and health policy aspects of cancer care are also welcome. Additionally, we aim to highlight translational research that bridges laboratory findings with clinical applications, fostering advancements that can inform clinical practice and future oncology research directions.

Topics included are cancer epidemiology, prevention, and early detection; biomarker discovery and validation; carcinogenesis; cancer immunology, immunotherapy, and vaccine development; molecular and cellular mechanisms of tumour progression and metastasis; palliative care, survivorship, and paediatric oncology; precision oncology; targeted and immune-based therapies; cancer care delivery; translational and clinical trial research; patient-centered outcomes and quality of life; real-world evidence and health technology assessment; and health equity and access to cancer care in low- and middle-income settings.
