This section features original research and critical reviews across the full spectrum of pulmonary medicine. Submissions that introduce novel concepts or stimulate discourse to advance understanding in the field are particularly encouraged.

Topics included - but not limited to - are interstitial lung diseases (ILD); asthma; lung cancer; chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD); pulmonary pathophysiology; respiratory failure; emphysema; sleep-disordered breathing (including sleep apnea); and infectious pulmonary diseases. Studies addressing genetic disorders with pulmonary manifestations - such as alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency and cystic fibrosis - are also within scope.
