Pediatric Pain

The pediatric pain section is devoted to the prevention, assessment and treatment of pain (including acute, neuropathic, chronic and cancer pain) in infants and children. An emphasis is placed on the importance of recognizing that children are not “little adults”, and that assessment and treatment need to specifically address the uniqueness of our pediatric patients.
